Another Rick Up My Sleeve
Peacemaker spends time in the alternate dimension and he sees what his life could be like if he had grown up with his brother and was respected by the public.
Warning: Spoilers below.

Backstory
The cold open shows us what happened right before the events of The Suicide Squad. Harcourt was in a relationship with Rick Flag Jr. It ends with him saying he’s going on the mission where the Peacemaker kills him. It helps explain why Harcourt is so reluctant to get close to Peacemaker and helps set up their potential relationship later.
Path to Healing
After sending a drunk text to the alternate dimension Harcourt, Peacemaker wakes up in the other dimension. He’s hung over but quickly begins a healing journey when his brother cares for him. In his dimension, his father encouraged him to beat this brother until his brother died. Here, he has a loving brother. It’s also clear the Peacemaker from this dimension had a difficult life in other ways since his brother is concerned about him using pills. They share a moment that’s touching for Peacemaker’s Chris, although it’s weird for Keith.

Peacemaker reaches out to Harcourt again and goes to meet her. Here, he learns this version of Peacemaker is beloved as the public keeps trying to get his attention. Meanwhile, this version of Harcourt is still in good graces with ARGUS and is dating Rick Flag Jr. This version of Rick Flag Jr. is acting weird because Harcourt and Peacemaker previously dated in this dimension, and Peacemaker is acting weird because, for him, it’s seeing a ghost. Peacemaker and Harcourt talk until they learn the Sons of Liberty are setting up bombs.
Peacemaker jumps into action and takes out almost all the assailants single-handedly. However, he gets a little help when Keith shows up and destroys the Sons of Liberty helicopter. Peacemaker declares it the best dimension ever as he gets a hug from Harcourt. He’s seeing the ways things could be better if he had a loving brother and the adoration of the public.
Rest of the 11th Street Kids
While things are improving for Peacemaker, the rest of the 11th Street Kids are reconciling their struggles since the events of season one. Adebayo keeps asking Harcourt about what happened that led to Peacemaker storming out of their party the previous night and if something happened when he says they were spending time together up until a few weeks previously. Harcourt plays coy, while Vigilante starts talking about how much he knows about animals.

Harcourt sends Vigilante to check to make sure Economos didn’t choke on his own vomit when he fell asleep in the tub and viewers hear Economos gagging because Vigilante stuck his fingers in Economos’ mouth. Vigilante then bugs Economos with his “knowledge” about spiders until Economos receives a call from ARGUS about what happened at Peacemaker’s house the previous night.
Bird Blindness
On the other end of that call are Sasha and Fleury asking why he didn’t tell them that Peacemaker had a “super duck” that took out a team that was sent in after Economos and Peacemaker left his house the previous night. Economos tells them it’s an eagle, and he did tell Fleury that. Sasha is convinced Economos tipped off Peacemaker, which is technically true, but not something he did on purpose or by himself.

Sasha calls in a crew to take down Peacemaker that includes an eagle hunter (played by Michael Rooker), due to Peacemaker going to the alternate dimension. The dimensional discrepancies get a nice throwback to Superman. Economos is furious they tried to take action against Peacemaker and Eagly, but he needs his job, so he agrees to go in with the team, but refuses to kill Eagly. Sasha puts Economos with the newest ARGUS member, Judomaster, who famously caused issues for the team during season one. Peacemaker starts returning from the dimension as every ARGUS agent in the region descends on his house.
What’s Next?
It’s clear that Peacemaker will be on the run in the next episode, but what happens to him and the 11th Street Kids? The preview hinted at Rick Flag Sr. offering Harcourt a job. She’s likely to want the job, but can she betray Peacemaker? What will happen to Economos when it’s inevitably revealed that he’s been spying on Peacemaker? Will they learn that he had already confided in Adebayo and that’s why she was able to warn Peacemaker that ARGUS was investigating him because of his dimensional device? There’s a lot of questions ramping up as the season shifts into a higher gear.
