No Ticket
The episode starts with Mandy driving with Cici and getting pulled over. She’s working on a way to get out of a ticket when the officer asks if she's the “weather girl.” She acknowledges it’s her and she ends up getting a warning. She rushes home to tell Georgie what happened. He notes that he’s seen her drive and can believe she got pulled over. He then notes that she didn’t bring Cici in when she rushed in to tell him, so she has to run back out to the car.

Mandy is still excited that her local fame is bringing her perks, and Audrey mentions she could get her picture hung up in places around town. This could help build her profile, plus there’s usually a benefit to both her and the business. Audrey gets excited about the idea of her daughter’s picture hanging at her local dry cleaners. But there’s more issues than perks awaiting.
Georgie’s Jealousy
Georgie is proud of his wife and decides to put a picture of her up in the shop. Ruben notes how she can now watch over him when she’s not there. However, when a customer notices the picture, he makes comments about how attractive Mandy is and hopes to see her in the shop. Georgie ends up getting frustrated with the attention and points out Mandy is his wife. Of course, Ruben talks to the customer and claims Georgie is lying with the customer, noting that Mandy is “too hot” for Georgie.

Later, Georgie plans to take Mandy out to dinner. Mandy takes a long time to get ready which frustrates Georgie. Eventually, they sit down at their table when a guy sitting at the bar sends a margarita to Mandy. She appreciates the attention, but Georgie doesn’t. He tries to order drinks but gets carded and can’t have any since he’s under 21. On the drive home, the pair have a fight over what happened. Georgie knows how men think and doesn’t like them thinking it about his wife. Mandy appreciates the attention but points out that he’s the one with whom she was always going home. Eventually the fight ends with Mandy saying she wasn’t doing anything and Georgie telling her she was “looking good” and knows it. Mandy’s excited for the compliment from her husband.
Fallout
Mandy looks at potential ways to change up her wardrobe because she’s not happy about Georgie’s jealousy. She doesn’t want to make him uncomfortable, so she tries to find clothes that are less revealing. Audrey encourages her to continue pursuing her career how she wants regardless of the attention from men and how it makes Georgie feel. They also go to the dry cleaner together where the woman running the cleaners doesn’t recognize Mandy and Audrey basically embarrasses her daughter by begging to have Mandy’s picture put on the wall.

Georgie talks over his frustrations with Ruben. The pair end up going out for a drink together when another bar patron starts hitting on the bartender. Georgie steps in because he doesn’t like how the man is commenting on the woman’s appearance. The man threatens to hit him and Georgie’s arc ends with Georgie having a black eye and Ruben laughing, wanting to say “I told you so” but showing restraint to demonstrate what Georgie should have done.
Baseball Music
While Georgie and Mandy are still having troubles, Connor has found a new music gig. He’s been hired to play the organ at a baseball game. He taught himself how to play “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” and “Charge.” He’s excited for the opportunity and Jim seems to be excited there’s a sports connection with his son. However, things don’t go well.

Connor gets home and explains that he played “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” in the first inning. Jim tells him that it's not supposed to be played until the seventh. He then says he played “Charge” while the other team was batting. Connor got items thrown at him. He asks Jim to teach him about baseball, because he refuses to quit. Jim explains the rules and when certain music would be good but also encourages Connor to have fun and stretch his musical talents. This seems like good advice until Jim and Audrey are watching the game and Connor changes “The Star Spangled Banner” into a techno song.
What’s Next?
The issues that will likely lead to the dissolution of Georgie and Mandy’s marriage are creeping up. Georgie is young and immature which contributes to his jealousy. At the same time, playing into his insecurities like she’s doing can make bigger problems. It’s clear Georgie loves Mandy and only has eyes for her, but he’s only 20 while she’s in her early 30s, so their problems will continue to fester if they don’t address them.
Meanwhile, Connor and Reuben are quickly becoming some of the best side characters on television. They are more enjoyable than Audrey as a whole and really closing in on Jim as great characters. The show is growing and improving, but it still misses almost as much as it hits.
